I'll reply but I'm not native so don't trust me 100%.

1. Mi laik go
Mi laik kaikai

2. I think naispela. Btw -pela goes to monosyllable adjectives only ("ai" in nais is like a diphthong). You can't say longlongpela for example.

I'd say ur sentence like this but it's just what seems better to me:

Gude ol wantok bilong mi! Dispela tok em i naispela tru na mi lainim em. Tasol mi gat sampela kwesten

Tok Pisin

Postby mymasalai » 2007-11-20, 3:38

Pass it on please

Salem dispela tok save i go raun lon algeta man na meri

Tok Pisin na kastam bilon al ya i no bilon raiten lon papa eu mas call im aut. (The culture is oral, not written).

Academically pronunciation is important but spelling & grammar not necessary unless translating the Bible etc, else leave it in Englise for technical work.

There are about 25000 words at most, mostly the technical words are descriptive use of common objects or a phonetic spelling of the word

Telephone = Telepon
Large two person cross cut saw = pulim i com pusim i go
Helicopter = mixmaster bilon Jesus Crist
Sin = picato
wild dog (wolf) = wiel dok
Bush Pig = bus pik
It is broken = somting i bukerup
stick = pas
letter = pas (as in english some sound the same too)
Mad (insane etc) = lonlon(g) (the g is not very strong as in "strong"

Generally it looks good for conversational/directionfinding use
