Postby Sisyphe » 2006-09-13, 0:26

This stabs me in the eye with many pains every time I see this and I was hoping someone else would notice so I wouldn't have to rant about it. However, my native language is Haïtian Créole - I am Haïtian! There is no Haitin Creole and I am not Haitin! I kindly request that someone correct this or point me to someone who will. Thank you... :(

Huh, Tobis?

Remember when the languages names were messed up? Maybe this one was not corrected after that.

You should send an email to webmaster AT unilang.org

I doubt the site admins will see this topic.

YES, I DID!!! :pissed: The name of a European language would never have problems and lack the attention like Haïtian Créole does; this is unbelievable.

If you had emailed any of the webmasters, that trivial typo would have been fixed immediately.

Sorry, I don't recall seeing an email related with this in the webmaster mail... As for the rest of the paragraph - I just assume you aren't being serious ;)

I did, without a doubt send an e-mail to the webmaster...don't know where it went...Thank you very much for correcting it. :D As for the last sentence, I was in a way being drmatic, but in another way being serious. I find it unlikely that you would see 'Frnch' or 'Germn' or even 'Englsh' on the forum - no one here would make that mistake on such a visited forum, and if they did, it would be corrected immediately. That was not the point of the message though - so thanks again.
