Dydy hi'm yn rhy anodd i mi. Ffeindio'r geiriau cymwys yn y Gymraeg--dyna'r anhawster!

Bydd y person o dana fi wedi ateb i hynny heb edrych mewn geiriadur.

Nac ydw, dw i ddim yn mynd i ateb y cwestiwn heb eiriadur, achos dw i ddim yn gwybod llawer o eiriau. Mae hi'n anodd i mi ffeindio pethau i'w dweud achos dw i ddim yn gwybod llawer yn Cymraeg.

Mae'r person o dana' i hoffi casglu pethau.

Mae cath 'da'r person o dana i. (yeah, yeah, I always say that  )
I hope no one minds my asking in English, but how come there's an exclusively Welsh and no other version of this thread on the forum titled "Celtic Languages"? Not that this is in my personal interest, as I'm only really doing Welsh right now, but it seems like we should, well, you know, have a little more equity -- on' ddylen?

Dw i ddim yn deall y cwestiwn. There's an Irish version of the game here: http://www.unilang.org/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=22160, a Scots-Gaelic version here: http://www.unilang.org/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=26878, and a Manx version here: http://www.unilang.org/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=28166. There might also have been Cornish and Breton version at one time, but I didn't see them. I only went back ten pages in the thread, however.

If you're asking why there isn't a pan-Celtic version of the game, keep in mind that the decision to merge these six fora into one was made less than a year ago. Feel free to start one, but I frankly don't see the need or the desirability.

Oh, sorry -- I was too lazy to go and dig up those other threads. Silly me. I thought they might be around somewhere, but didn't bother to check. Diolch yn fawr! :)

cael is 'to be allowed to'. People do use it in a more general sense of 'can', but prescriptively for that you want gallu.

I'm going to try to discuss Yng's comment on "Croeso i'r Gymraeg!" because I don't want to hijack this any further. Okay, Yng?
