I should have announced this before now, but some stuff came up and it slipped my mind until now:

I have [a few weeks back   ] officially stepped down as the mod of the CSAIL forum. I suppose I could have left it to you guys to figure out yourselves, with the lack of any mod named on this subforum, but I'm nicer then that!

I want to thank any and everybody that helped make this subforum possible and for all the interesting discussions and games we had fun in for a while. I wish those of you that are learning any CSAIL language the best of luck, and you'll probably still see me around this part of the forum on occasion.

Thanks again! :)

No offense, but has it really only been a few weeks? I didn't realize!

Anyway, I haven't been here for too long, but thanks for moderating this forum! :D I'm sure I'll still hang around here, since I'm learning two CSAILs, so thanks for your good wishes, too. :)

Yeah, I think it's been at least two weeks anyway.
It's not like there are announcements or anything when people step down usually, so I can't blame anyone for not noticing.

Why would I be offended?

Well, and the fact that both CS and NAIL forums are pretty sparsely updated by users probably doesn't help either. It's pretty easy to forget to even check the subforum when there's usually not any activity for weeks at a time.

Not a criticism, just the way it's always been since I've been a forum member.

Wow, nobody's posted anything in this thread for like three years! But then I'm partially responsible for that.

I'm back to learn a bit of Cusco Quechua and...Mapudungun (I have almost no idea what dialect variation in Mapudungun looks like, so I don't know which variety of it I'm learning). I'll probably write a few posts about them (hopefully later tonight).

That'd be very welcome. I regularly get some wanderlust for CSAIL languages and should do something about that when I do.

Perhaps a little cognate list among Central/South American languages belonging to a family will do?
"And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge." (Ar-Rum: 22)

Jika saya salah, mohon diperbaiki. If I make some mistake(s), please correct me.

Will do for what?

There are a few cognate lists on Wikipedia, of course: Quechuan, Arawakan, Mayan...
