(My mom has had this book on Cree for animal words and what they do, from which I got mowew (guessed it was plural object because the next word was berries) and mêchisow). Apparently there's differences in that the former takes an animate object and the latter an inanimate one.
For how widely spoken (it's one of the most spoken native languages, if not the most, in Canada) Cree is, I'm surprised by how little we on Unilang know of it. I mean, I understand the desire to learn not well-known NAILs, but Navajo is fairly popular. In fact it's almost as popular here on Unilang as Catalan is .
