Added some very good resources for Dogrib (Athabascan) to the main list. Just a shame they don't have any audio for it. But it's still an exceptionally good textbook and dictionary set.

Great, now I have another language to taunt me. :para:

I've found it in this site.

Squamish/Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Coast Salish):

Here's a new language blog by a Squamish man who's working to revitalize the language:

http://squamishlanguage.com/

His twitter account: @Khelsilem

According to wiki there's only about 10 native speakers (2010 stats). So access to someone teaching the language via social media is great.

[flag]mic[/flag] Mi'kmaq

On Twitter: @pemaptoq -- a word a day from Mi’gmaq-Mi’kmaq Online; http://mikmaqonline.org

And for finding speakers and learners on Twitter for various indigenous languages (although NAILs are sadly underrepresented): http://indigenoustweets.com/ (And if you wish, you can get your twitter account added--when I learn a bit more Mi'kmaq I'd ask to have mine added to the Mi'kmaq list. There's only 4 so far! :( )

Still is quite a nice list. Great to see such a diverse group.

Too bad I don't have a twitter account (or really have a need for one).

Don't know if anyone's seen these yet:

[flag]nv[/flag] Navajo:

There's a You Tube user named daybreakwarrior who's been putting up videos for Navajo lessons/word of day. Here's his videos for counting in Navajo:

Hmmm, I just tried both my original link and your new link and neither seem to work for me. :hmm:

At any rate, if anyone is interested in either the Cayuga and/or Oneida dictionary, just go to the University of Toronto Press site and search for them.

http://www.puyalluptriballanguage.org/news.html

This site contains "news", which has Southern Lushootseed phrases and sentences, quite a bit! The site also has two stories in Southern Lushootseed.

If you can actually make it into any of the courses and use them let me know.
Otherwise it looks like a potentially interesting link for Canadian First Nation languages.

Where is this textbook?
I am learning Dogrib at my own pace. Since it’s a sister language to my language. :partyhat:
