Tlingit - KLEX??

Postby Narbleh » 2009-07-20, 17:04

Does anyone know what the heck KLEX is referring to in the Wikipedia articles on Tlingit? It appears to mean a "ka" particle that shows up now and then, but I can't find any information online about what this KLEX might mean. The articles don't explain. It looks like it might mean "k-lexifier", but that's a rather unhelpful term if it is.

Thanks for any help, especially if you know what the KLEX is used for in Tlingit :P

Apparently some other sources call it a "theme prefix", if it is the same thing and not something else that sounds alike.
