There was just "O menino grapiúna". Have you read it? (The cacao boy?) :hmm:

:hmm:

Faz sentido agora. "The Cacao Boy" faz sentido também. :D

Erro de digitação. "ugly", não "done".

Deve ser engraçado! Pois, nada como o "Charlie and the chocolate factory".

Eu li todo naquela noite, enquanto a Claudia pintava as unhas.

Você está em qual capítulo? Qual a maior dificuldade?

Sim, e tem várias outras em francês:

Pedalar na chucrute
Pedalar na sêmola

Estou no capítulo "Naquele tempo, a bexiga negra dizimava as populações..."

Happy new year! And short update!

[flag=]pt[/flag] = It hasn't been the best moment for Portuguese, given the fact "A pessoa abaixo de mim" is blocked because of me   but I feel it's not slipping away from my mind either. So it's just on a short break now.

[flag=]en[/flag] = Got my novel back with proof-reading corrections - almost all the mistakes are "it's not wrong, but it would look more natural this way...". My proof-reader said it was good English (and good story, actually), which is very nice of her but I don't know if she is saying the truth or just being nice :ohwell:

[flag=]et[/flag] = :para: :para: shamefully not studying.

[flag=]hu[/flag] = Now doing 3 hours of conversation every week and my 2 conversation partners are very assiduous (is that right for assidû?) with me, so I feel like the luckiest Hungarian learner in the world :partyhat: As I have made my coming-out for that with the two of them, I can now say I watch "Friends" (Jó barátok) in Hungarian (when the videos are allowed in France) and can understand *a serious bit* of it. I am very ashamed of this because Friends is very stupid but it's the right level for me. Maybe when I'm a little better I can try Desperate Housewives or Sex and the city :) and be a little less ashamed about it.

thanks for your attention and enjoy your peaceful Sunday!

You're writing a novel?! About what?

I don't think it's something to be ashamed of! Personally I would put Friends in the same category as Desperate Housewives or Sex and the City; they are all shows that use a lot of "langue courante". Also, at least in English, the actors all speak quite fast.

wrote lots of them, it's my hobby :D this one is a love story ending dramatically with a suicide, but which turns out not to be one exactly... I intend to publish it as a free e-book so I'll send the news here, I'm just waiting for my second proof-reader (Hungarian this time, as a big part of it takes place in Hungary) :)

J'allais à l'école le lundi => I used to go to school on Mondays (something that you repeat, some kind of habit)
J'étais à l'école lundi dernier => I was at school last Monday (you want to point one fact, one action in the past)
J'avais raté le bus de l'école lundi dernier => I had missed the school bus last Monday => you point out one fact, even earlier in the past.

Or so I think... I also try to teach that to my Hungarian conversation partners but it's kinda hard...
