This reminds me!

UAE = Why or Wae (Korean)
PLB (personal language blog) = Pleb

Yea, the point of using a VPN here is that you have a direct tunnel connection with a server in a country outside China Mainland, so you can surf the Internet through that server and so access websites that are blocked in China.
I didn't choose to have a UAE server, but the app seems to choose it by default, maybe the app is based in UAE.
Apparently it looks like UAE server are more stable and less likely to be blocked by the GFC unlike American, European, Or East Asian (such Hong Kong, Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese) ones.

I've seen people use both acronyms, with GFC meaning Great Firewall of China.

It's funny; GT didn't translate býta when doing this phrase! Wiktionary had the word; so not sure why GT wasn't able to translate it. It translated your other sentences fine.

Speaking of which, kudos on writing an update split over 3 languages! Love the idea! And your levels are pretty good to be able to do carry on the same thought. Will definitely need to start doing that in the future. (Well could probably do it now with my 3 romance langs....might not be a bad idea actually...it would hopefully help me resurrect some of the Port and Span I've forgotten due to a horse-racing approach to French.)

Weird that Google wouldn't know býta :hmm: Icelandic isn't even that obscure a language that it should have its internal dictionary of it pretty complete.

Tak/Takk/Grazie!

For Icelandic though, I can't really say my level is that good… I had to refer to a dictionary for just that one small sentence! I was planning on writing more in Icelandic, but figured I couldn't handle that exhaustion. Luckily Italian is my forte ( ;) ), so I could easily finish the update in it ^^

Well, I could do that, too, but I don't. :P Different strokes for different folks. :)

A causo dell'interesse mia trovata di recente, cambierò il coreano col tailandese. Lo studierò fino l'interesse diminuirà e poi continuerò il coreano.

Lo scritto tailandese doe  Penso di preferire a imparare l'alfabeta d'inglese che del tailandese, ma almeno so scrivere "gatta" :P : แมว. Tutte le altre parole non sono importanti :nope:

*At first glance it might look weird but usually the sentence following finché (=until) is negative, e.g:

I'll stay here until you come back = starò qui finché non torni.

**Io direi piuttosto "l'alfabeto inglese (piuttosto) che quello tailandese".
