Well, since almost the entire Gothic corpus is from a translation of the bible, that should be fun :D

As a side note for Gothic, it has pronouns for "We two" and "you two" that appears to conjugate dependant on the gender. So, instead of just a boring, plural "we", or "Vous" in romance languages... since there are very often times where you refer to two people, there's a pronoun! Wit (we two) vs weis (we), Jut (you two) vs Jus (yous).

Also, I have Greek, Georgian and German keyboards loaded... but no Gothic... Time for... Google...

I think, if not bet, you're gonna have to make your own keyboard layout for Gothic, with Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator if you're using Windows.

What are you using for Gothic and Georgian? Last year when I briefly toyed with Gothic I used the Language Resource Center lessons from Vijay's alma mater. Then earlier this year a user on here messaged me about some Gothic website and radio station. I can find them for you, if you want.

The bible has euphemisms I believe, so I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard.

Not only that, it has lots of references to sex in the Old Testament anyway. Like Sodom and Gomorrah (don't you just love how homosexuality is portrayed in the Bible as a bunch of guys actually saying something that amounts to "bring your two guests out so we can fuck them!"?), Abraham having sex with Hagar (and treating her like shit), all these weird (from a modern Western perspective, anyway) restrictions on what you are or aren't allowed to do with your own semen (if you have semen, of course), and the Songs of Solomon.

I haven't any resources yet, but here is what I am counting on:

1) lots of youtube videos (both)
2) Unilang's resource center (both)
3) For gothic... there's a peculiarly large amount of revivalists, i plan to tap into that
4) For gothic... Wulfias's bible, of course!

Maybe unilang.org is still blocked for you but not forum.unilang.org?
Did you try to remove http, or use https, and/or add www, etc.

Some sites suddenly work under the GFW if I add www. :) It seems AFW (Appa's Firewall) has the same fallacy!

Not sure how far you want to take Georgian, or how intensively you want to learn it, but there's this:
http://www.seelrc.org:8080/grammar/pdf/ ... orgian.pdf
Complete with audio:
http://www.iu.edu/~celtie/georgian_g311 ... _g512.html

Oh, and I just happened across this too:
http://www.uta.edu/faculty/cmfitz/swnal ... rammar.pdf

I have both in book format, and I must say they both are quite good.

My goal is to be modest, German is my focus but the other 3 are to keep me from wandering too far in lust for other languages. As I know nothing, if I can get to A comfortable A1, I'll be happy. Thank you for the links, it is not as easy to find resources as I initially thought. Goals such as, ordering in a restaurant, reading a map and bus schedule, light conversation about where I am from, etc. At a minimum I want 30 mins once a week = 26 hours of study, a good portion of which will just be the alphabet. However, that is a minimum, and if I get real excited might go much higher.

I always go too hard too fast, crash and burn by February, so by pre planning my wanderings and adding structure... Here's to hoping life stays out of my way!

Good luck! I know the feeling. My creating a list of languages, having one main resource for each, and planning the amount of study time to spend on each, is all an attempt to not crash and burn.

Hmm, my resource lists it as guths, but that doesn't look right at all.

But this other page agrees, hopefully not from the same base source though:

I started getting my feet wet with Greek. This alphabet is going to be harder than I thought. especially with the letters μ, σ, ς, δ, η, ν & ω
