Well, if it makes you feel any better, as insane about languages as I am, even I haven't done any in over a week! I'm hoping today will be the day that I start getting back into them, but that's not too likely since there's not much time left in the day.

Yeah, that's what my hope was too, but I wound up just doing other things.

I'm hardly beating myself up over though. I've been doing other worthwhile things instead.
I just have to get back into it this week.

And the good news is, the last few weeks has helped me decide on my next language (if I ever get to a good enough skill in French that is ): Japanese!

The only thing I managed to do this week was two lessons of French. But it's a holiday week, so whadda ya expect? At least I got something in this week.

I've decided to keep the Hebrew for this week, and do Greek next week. I also want to go back over the Cayuga lessons for another week or two. I'm going to move a bit slow with Cayuga. Plus I never did any speaking or listening with the audio, or anything from the chapter on pronunciation.

So are you in seminary right now? Or do you plan to go? And usually wouldn't you do Biblical Hebrew and Greek at seminary?

(Not that there's anything wrong with you doing it on your own; I think that's really cool! In fact, you're making me want to bust out my Biblical Greek 101 textbook and start reading through it again.)

I'm not going to be a priest (well, at least not yet. Never know what the future holds ), but yes, I am in a Masters program right now. I'm in my third (?) year I think. It's hard to keep track. And I did take as much of the languages as possible already in seminary. They only had one intro course for both though. It's a pretty small school, and doesn't have the resources for more language courses, unfortunately. Hence why I am studying them on my own for the time being. I can always do further formal study during my doctoral, if need be. Or I could even go take some more language courses at an affiliated school during my masters degree as well, but right now I don't see the need. I haven't really tacked down the testament I want to focus in on yet, so I wouldn't know what language(s) to focus in on either.
