Hi everyone!
My name's Benjamin, and I'm 13 years old. I'm taking up this challenge. I began learning the Arabic alphabet yesterday, I've studied a bit of Latin grammar some time ago, I have German at school and I want to stay the best in my class, I do only know the Ancient Greek alphabet, I've never studied Swedish, but I'm Danish, so I can understand a basic conservation, I can make a basic presentation of myself in Volapük, and I'm good at English, but I would like to be more fluent in it.
I'm looking to improve my skills in all of thoose languages; Here's my goals for this year:
Arabic:
-Read an easy text, understanding some of it.
-Being able to have a basic conservation with someone I just met.
-Read and understand a children's book.
-Learn the alphabet.
-Understand a basic tv-program.
Latin:
-Have a basic conservation.
-Read a poem without too many dictionary-lookups.
-Understand lots of grammar!!
German:
-Stay the best in class.
-Get straight 12s (A+) when I get grades in the summer.
Write a beautiful poem.
Greek:
-Have a basic conservation.
-Read an easy poem without too many dictionary-lookups.
-Understand some of the grammar.
Swedish:
-Talk about some basic things; Like having breakfast, shopping etc.
-Understand a news show.
Volapük:
-Understand a couple of pages in the translation of Alice in Wonderland (called something with Lälid).
-Complete the 10-lesson online course in Volapük.
English:
-Improve pronounsation.
-Improve vocabulary.
I'll be completing this with only free stuff: The internet and library books.
