sorry I wrote in roman because I think Bijlee was using a device where she couldn't type or see Devanagari.

Yeah, I was on my phone. I could type in Devanagari on it, but I don't like to because it takes so long. :P

My phone makes typing in it way easier than on my computer (where I can't even see the keys and have to guess). That's why I use Google's input editor, but sometimes that leads to spelling mistakes so you have to proofread what you write.

Do you have the IPhone? It seems they support way more languages than my android does. I have an Ipod and I have no trouble typing Hindi on it, but the android just sucks.

Yeah, it has much better language support. I don't know about Android.

Maybe it's a popular model in Vietnam or made there or something. I'm getting a new phone and while I don't want to get an iPhone 5, I'm a little concerned about language support. I mean, iPhone even has Tibetan.

I have an android, and I have no issue getting a ton of different language keyboards. Not sure if Hindi is among them, but I imagine it should be. I know I can get a butt load of European languages, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Georgian, Armenian and some others. Oddly enough Armenian and Georgian are on the phone it self (along with most of the rest)! :P

I have a Hindi keyboard on my Android, but I don't like it. To be honest, it's just laziness on my part for not wanting to get used to the layout.

Writing in German and French is a hell of a lot easier on my phone than on the computer though. All the diacritics they use are on the default keyboard.

Canadian Multilingual Standard easily handles most European languages. It just takes some getting used to.

Japanese is another thing altogether, though...

Btw guys I had question on Japanese, I was trying to write updates here but when I use the Japanese keyboard it turns all the hiragana into Kanji. Is there anyway to turn it off or is it an automatic thing?
