Hello! I need to put a multilingual sign at my shop.
Of course, you can post translations in any language, but I'd be very glad if I could translate it in the following languages: Italian, Chinese, English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Wolof, Amharic, Swahili, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Bengali, Sinhala, Urdu, Hindi, Romanian, Filipino, Portuguese.

Adding Spanish and Estonian. Two listed for Spanish because of regional variations; "móvil" is more common in Spain and "celular" more common in Latin America, but either should be understandable to most speakers. Just choose the one that better represents your expected clientele (no need to list both). Same with UK vs. US English.

Also, in Spain they say "ordenadores", not "computadoras".

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm in Rome, Italy, and ironically I will use the Latin American version. Here there are many Peruvian immigrants and Argentinian tourists. Despite being in Europe, there are very few tourists from Spain lately.

As for English, I think I'll use "mobile phone". It seems to be the most common used word in "International English" and in "European English". Actually, most of my English-speaking customers are form Nigeria or other African countries, but I'm not sure which word Nigerians prefer.

Pretty much. Although at least here we tend to use "reparação" for something that's not working (e.g an electronic device) and "conserto" for something that's broken and needs fixing (e.g. a bicycle or a pair of shoes)

Well počítat is to compute, but telefon komórkowy sounds like a chamber phone. Although Poles view our language as funny as we find theirs.

I had a conversation with a Pole once and told him that their word for soldier żołnierz sounds like žoldnéř (mercenary in Czech) and that we use voják which he found archaic. He said their word for mercenary was najemnik and I told him nájemník meant tenant (the one who pays rent) in Czech.

P.s. we use the word nájemný vrah (hitman) though.
